Lotus - Portrait Documentary (2015)
Idea // For the last 31 years, my Dad has owned a classic Lotus Super Seven sports car and since I can remember, it has been broken down and neglected sat in the garage. For the last year or so however, he has rebuilt and restored this classic to road worthy standards. I knew that I wanted to make a film about this restoration from day one and it's great to finally see the car on the road and the film completed.
Production Information // We combined a interview session with multiple shots of Tom driving, building and working on the car. We wanted this to be very cinematic so we shot on the Snake Pass in Derbyshire out of the back of the car and stabilised in post.
